Removing rear tail light dilemma

Have a broken rear tail light on my 2014 RLX and just by looking around for about 10 minutes I realized it's not as easy as a few screws and a plug. I looks like I have to take off the rear bumper. Has anyone replaced there's or have any insight on how to do the swap. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure you have this figured out by now. Yes, you do need to remove bumper. There are 3 8mm bolts you have to remove from back side of lamp via trunk access. After you remove the number your will find 2 screws under the lamp mounted to the bumper retaining clip.

This sounds easy compared to me replacing the headlights on my '06 TL. Uhg that was a nightmare!
