The deal is done! The only downside is the Carfax killed the trade value deeply. The car is beautiful and we got to hear about the previous owner and his long history with Acura. The car was
well taken care of. I was also lucky to find out my son (financial manager at Subaru) works a few doors down from Acura dealer and came down to "influence" a better deal. I had already done
quite a bit of negotiating but his help was also influential. I took the advice of another owner who said take the low ball offer and move on. It ended up at $12,500 after alot of back and forth. UGHHH!
I did manage to get $125 knocked off the tire and rim protection after my son said he could provide it for less! I also took the spare tire kit out and will install in new car. All said and done I am pretty
happy with the deal on a beautiful car. The $12,500 stings but I can't change the Carfax and now the dealer can do what they want with it. Due to my horrible work schedule I probably won't be
able to pick it up until next Saturday. I can't wait! Thanks to everyone for all their suggestions and opinions. I appreciate all my Acurazine friends!!!!!

NICE! Another RLX has found a loving home. Were you able to get the spare tire kit switched over from the old RLX?

Yes! The salesman even helped switch it! Acura Peabody, MA is THE location for RLX. Dealers refuse them and they go to this dealer who sells them all the time.
While we were there we got to look at the new TLX ASPEC. All I can say is BEAUTIFUL! What a nice looking car!
