Possibly buying 2014 RLX
Hi everyone,
I currently have a 2004 Acura TL with 204,000 miles and looking for an upgrade. I saw 2 different RLX of the 2014 vintage and would like to know what items to look for if I have a pre-purchase inspection. I’m familiar with the timing belt needing replaced. Are there any common issues that I need to specifically keep an eye out for? They are both the P-AWS model. The first one I looked at was $11,500 with 150,000 miles and the other one is $17,500 with 90,000 miles.
Thank you!

Check your tires, if possible find a special on tires that will replace your tire for free if you get a flat. The RLX doesn't have a spare tire. Ride it to check suspension, the RLX is nice but some are known to have a rough ride.
I just got my timing belt package redone a couple months ago. That was the main thing for me. I have 80k miles. The car is giving me good service. I'm not disappointed at all with getting it. As long as you keep up maintenance you will be good.

Suspension
Hello, I have not had any major issues with my 2014 RLX but I know plenty of others have complained about the rear suspension so I would keep an eye out for that.
The only things I can remember getting fixed that were not a recall were the noisy telescoping steering wheel, poor garage door opener range & the center console lid.
Good luck!
