New RLX photo's on Acura.com
I watch the Acura webpage like a hawk. Was delighted to finally see some new photos of the RLX added after they had uploaded one onto the RLX's homepage that couldn't be found else where.
I like these new pictures better than the previous ones. They look millions of times better. You all know what I'll be doing to #5 EXHAUSTS!!
We'll have to wait and see what the RLX Hybrid images bring.

^^ Nice pics. Thanks for posting! My favorite is #2.....I still dislike the chrome around the rear deflectors.

Do you have the ability to do a single tip on each side (as in the TL)?
With respect to the photos....I wish those photos would have included a white RLX.

why would they put quad exhaust and hide them? Does quad provide any improvement over straight dual? I'm assuming the quad is only at the exhaust tips

Thanks for posting. I agree, much better shots than the old ones that all seemed computer-generated, unimaginative and grainy. These really show the styling and lines of the car.

Hi... I'm reading Acurazine from years and never post... I did a little photoshop to the back of the RLX adding the 2009 TL tailpipes...
I personally think that it looks much better than hiding them..

javier509 and Timmy...Thanks to both of you for your work. No doubt that the RLX would look better with visible exhaust tips BUT they would need to remove the chromed rear light deflectors as they distract from the exhaust tips.

It looks good! I'd say they're a bit big and the over all shape doesn't fit the bumper cut outs but that all can be fixed.

RLX Hybrid has been shown with a a grey instead of black dash but here you can see the black lives on!!
Anyone else think there is two different colors/ types of wood grain shown? On the left side of the steering wheel there is a darker, more brown wood then the others, and it can't just be a shadow or the lighting. What ever wood it is on the left side, I love it!
I'm still not a fan of the push button selector. If I ever own one of these cars there will be a lever conversion happening. It just looks uncomfortable to let your hand dangle there.

Three Wheelin'
the wheels in the new pics are the same 19" 14-spoke alloy wheels that have been available since day-1 on the Tech/Advanced models. I'm not sure I like the "new" 10-spoke alloy wheels on the SH-AWD model. Something seems a little "off" about them. But hard to say until we get more pics.

If you've ever driven the RLX, you'll know that the arm rest is huge and comfy and makes up for any need to rest your hand on a lever. IMO it's actually more comfortable not resting your hand on the level than doing so in the current model.

I don't know that there are two types in this one pic, looks the same to me.
But I will say that the wood-grain in this pic does look different from the current wood-grain. It looks like it is a new type/color specifically for the SH-AWD model. I like it. it's more of a cherry-red/brown whereas the current model is a deeper rich "coffee" brown.

I fixed it either way and added some exotic color choices. Some may like or hate.

Timmy18....Stop doing this to me!! You are torturing me with making a sexy RLX that I'll never be able to own BTW...the 3rd interior color (from the top) is my favorite!

Someone made a comment about the black dashes.......Are we stuck with only black, or are other colors available for the RLX?
Black anything doesn't work too well in sunny Southern California

You know, it's funny one of the little changes in direction.
I remember that the guy in charge of rolling out the 4G TL would talk on camera about how he'd resolve that everything in the interior of the TL would be natural or recycled material, and that he had made a conscious decision to have as little plastic as possible in order to avoid the emissions that plastics leech into the atmosphere of an enclosed space.
Although I appreciate the interior of the RLX very much, and although it's very obviously a very high quality interior that's stitched together very well and made of high quality materials, it is at the same time very clear that they might have abandoned the "all natural or at least recycled" approach.
Or am I missing something?
