Just purchased a 2016 RLX advance
my lease was up within the next 3 months and acura has this program where they eat 3 of your remaining payments. i started my car search about a week ago i test drove the hyundai genesis and volvo s90. The genesis was nice but way too small for someone of my size. The volvo s90 is a very nice car but they wanted at least 6k down to get my payments where i wanted them. Now back to the rlx i ended up getting 15k off sticker and the payments i want with only first month's payment and dmv fees up front. I'm very happy with my purchase the only thing that i'm praying for would be the suspension issue that i had in my 2014 to be fixed in the 2016. Other than that i absolutely love the car

Enjoy the RLX. What color did you get?
Can I make a suggestion (as a native NYC guy)? Get the tire and wheel warranty. My New York sister has used it 4 times already in 12k miles and 2 years in her 2015 Audi A3 Prestige. I think she paid about $1200 which I thought was outrageous, but she has had 2 bent rim repairs, 2 major rim gouge repairs, and 3 tires replaced. And she is a middle aged mild mannered stock broker! With your negotiation skills, perhaps you could do much better. ed |
Posted on the the other thread also.
Congratulations on your new lease! I hope you have many safe miles with it! I am sure this one rides much more to your liking than the 2014 you had...... Absolutely no complaints with the suspension on mine...... |
Congratulations Bronx1480. I hope you enjoy your new ride and look forward to your comparisons between the 2014 and 2016 versions of the RLX.

Congrats! The current scuttlebutt is that the suspension issue was resolved for the 2016s. I'll be making a similar decision in only a few short months.

Congrats!
Along with the suspension refinements, you will also enjoy the improved Infotainment system. Which trim level did you get? The AcuraWatch system is great, and I love the 360 Camera, |

Enjoy the upgrades. Curious to your observations / comparisons between the model years. Many people are turned off to the RLX PAWS as the initial reviews called out the early model issues (and the Consumer Reports review - repeated by Forbes) all but sunk the model. However, as a result there is really good pricing available on the car that makes it a real deal for those who can see past the initial reviews. Especially true for an Acura repeat customer, who has accepted FWD as the primary drive-train configuration. A wise upgrade IMHO.

Welcome again 2.0 in the SH!

So far so good this is the car i thought i was getting myself into in 2014. The suspension issues seems to be fixed the navigation and head unit is not buggy anymore. Overall i'm extremely impressed with the updates acura did to the car. most importantly i lowered my payment by almost 300 dollars

If only I could find a way to easily transfer a 2016 head unit into my 2014.....
