Honda Legend "Access" Catalogue
In response to interest in another thread, here is the Honda Access Catalogue for the current generation Legend:
Honda|Honda Access|レジェンド
Now that I have seen those wheels closer, I am *not* so sure they are exactly the same as the dealer available optional wheels that are being called Diamond-Cut.
Attached here, two images from out of the catalogue, showing the mild exterior accessories.
Slightly different trunk lip.
Front aero consisting of a piece that makes the edges of the front lip deeper.
Side aero, and side ding protection mounted low on the doors like they are in China, not high on the doors like they are in the USA and Canada.

Don't do something dumb like buy stuff out of that catalogue without checking it out completely.
Although our rear deck looks the same, it might not actually be the same.
In 2002 we bought an EP3 CTR rear wing thinking it would fit, of course, on the 2002 USDM EP3 Si imported from Swindon.
It wasn't even close to the right fit.
I have no idea why, but sometimes production that appears to be identical is not absolutely identical, even though they are produced in the same plant on the same line.
That front lip is really tempting....

Another angle on that front lip, in Bellanova White Pearl.
:-)
(That's another thing to be careful of if you're buying from a Honda JDM catalogue. Just because it looks like the same colour, and even if it *says* it is the same colour, does not mean it is exactly the same.)

The diamond cut ones look the same as the wheels on the Honda Accord Sport. I personally like our OEM RLX wheels better IMO.

This is how I'd do mine...
Now THAT is a proper deck lip. Not that ugly non-cohesive looking thing we got here in the US. I just don't understand their design methodology in making accessories that create such a contrast to the natural flow of the body design.
And their design methodology behind their rims will always be a mystery to me. We finally get a single "decent" option, yet it costs almost as much, if not just as much as adding the Navigation option...*scratches head*. The best option rim I've seen Acura release by far are the 19" diamond cut rims for the 2015 TLX (not the chrome ones). Those look great on the TLX and compliment the body-design just right.

^ Nice find! That $1000 less definitely helps...
What I'm hoping for is that we see some of these "Legend" options come out as part of the 2016 Sport-Hybrid US release, to help further differentiate the PAWS from the SH models. Chrome door handles, sleeker deck lip, nice looking front lip...

Let us know what you do find out though. If these options aren't available in the US market come next year, I'm definitely going to want to look at adding that deck lip and possibly the front lip as well to what will hopefully be my 2016/2017 SH
Can't wait to get that HUD action...

Me, three. Those chrome handles are a nice contrast against my CBP.
Thanks for finding the accessory wheels for $1k less than MSRP. Still too much IMHO but much better than charging aftermarket wheel-money for OEM stuff. I mean, really? I would buy that it were super light, forged, aftermarket quality.

They were solid, high quality wheels, but you couldn't get them but so light because of a very strict safety requirement that under certain kinds of testing the wheels bend instead of break.
Some of the most expensive, lightest wheels that you can buy are wheels that will crack and break apart in a hard crash, instead of bending. Some of these very expensive wheels will even burn in a crash that involves fuel or hard abrasions that cause sparks.
Wheels designed to bend instead of break will have less of the hardest, most brittle metals like magnesium, too. They're going to be heavier.
Quality, I suppose, is in the eye of the beholder and in the eye of the purchaser.

According to a long live'd importer of parts from Asia, the front lip will fit North American cars.
It's two small pieces, not one piece, and would cost way too much to get over here. He'd basically have to buy it from a Honda dealer and then ship it over here, which would all add up to something that's not a very economically well founded decision to make.
Basically the same for the other parts.
For example, if you liked the JDM chrome diamond cut wheels instead of the USDM diamond cut wheels with the dark pieces, by the time you got the JDM wheels to your house in the USA, they'd cost more than what you'd have paid retail at your Acura dealer.
Demand for these parts would be quite low, so I doubt anybody's going to gear up to produce high quality lookalike parts for quite some time.
If you're visiting Japan, you might try to get small parts that fit in your luggage. :-) Like the two pieces that form the front lip, or perhaps the rain shields over the doors, stuff like that.
Floor mats that said LEGEND in an artful circle would certainly be interesting, and sooner or later somebody's going to remove his RLX and put a LEGEND badge on the rear.

I would like them if they were standard or options to add, but I would not customize the car by adding it. I do like them though.
BTW my auto body shop is still waiting on my new bumper part so I can't get it repaired yet. It isn't keeping me up at night.
Also I appreciate all of you in our group. I enjoy "our" exchanges of information and opinions.
