It's funny that Wayne and Brian seem to have different opinions about the car.
Brian's complaint seemed to be mostly the packaging of features and the MSRP. He liked driving the car and appreciated it for the most part, making especially good comments about the drivetrain itself.
Even in the newest car, the TLX, the top screen and bottom screen offer different interfaces for the same features. That seems to be the way they want it to be. The two alphabet displays are relevant because if you don't know how to type the roller is faster. If you *do* know how to type and you're at a stop light, you'll appreciate the QWERTY keyboard.

^ the QWERTY keyboard will become useable when they improve the tactile response time of the RLX system. There are times where it literally takes 1-2 seconds to register a key push.
I'll be curious to see what improvements they've made with the TLX system.

I thought this was an interesting quote from the review...
"The RLX certainly delivered a quiet ride. Standing outside the car, I could hear the chattering of the 3.5-liter V-6 engine's injectors, but inside the cabin that noise was completely muted."
