2016 RLX Buy?
Hello All,
I purchased a 2014 Advanced in 2018 https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...lx-buy-972020/. I love the car and stumbled upon a 2016 Sport Hybrid with 30k miles. When I purchased the 2014, everyone one suggested buying the 2016 Sport Hybrid.
Is the 2016 Sport Hybrid still a good car to target or should I focus on 2017. I don’t like the styling on the newer RLX. Any advice on buying a later version would be appreciated?
Thanks!

There are few updates other than sheet metal on the newer RLX's.
I do like the HUD and the 360 view on my '19 SH.
But the '16 model has a snappier infotainment system vs the '14 and modified dampers for a smoother ride., among a few other updates.
Still, the SH and PAWS remain two very different cars, despite the outward similarity.
Having been in a '14 PAWS and a '19 SH, it is a nobrainer upgrade if the numbers make sense to you.

The only downsides with the sport-hybrid is the smaller trunk space and smaller 15 gal gas tank if you like to travel in your RLX. The extra power and improved mpgs makes up for that.

He probably means years from now. Most of those hybrids have yet to hit 100k miles. When they start becoming 10-12 years old we'll see how they hold up against the N/A V6.
