2020 RDX A Spec floats, wanders, won't track straight

Hello everyone, very recently purchased a 2020 acura RDX A spec, certified pre owned with 7200 miles on it. Came with stock Goodyear Eagle tires. The car won't stay in center of the lane at 60mph and onwards... floats left and right, subtle but constantly needing me to

make minor corrections while driving. Going to the dealer to investigate SOON. Will get a front and rear alignment. Will replace the tires if necessary. Will this correct the issue? Can't keep the car if this is how it handles. Any suggestions? Dealer service manager already said over the phone this just may be how the car drives (ridiculous comment)... suggestions appreciated! Thank you!

Of course this isn't how they drive, but what you are describing depends on lots of factors. If the slope/angle of the highway you normally drive is high enough for good drainage then the car could pull depending on the angle. Are you trying to center the wheel on the highway and then letting go for a judgement? This isn't an indicator I'd use for tracking. Get an alignment and if everything checks out it's either the road or the tires are tracking grooves or something similar where you are. A new set of tires could drastically change the characteristics, Michelin or Continental would alter things for the better. Goodyear is middle of the road (Quality wise) in most categories.

Try turning off the Lane Keep Assist. It can be an unusual feeling (as it tries to keep the car in the lane).

I find using comfort mode works best on the highway, steering response is more sensitive in sport mode..

thanks, will try as suggested. I'm not use lane keeping assist. When I do the car ping pongs left and right quite noticeably. I will get an alignment and swap out tires if necessary. Yes,, I have been trying to center the car when driving and letting go to see if it tracks straight. Minor but very constant steering adjments necessary otherwise. Was considering the Michelin pilot 4 performance all season as an upgrade if the issue persists. Expensive to do this, wonder if worth it... thank you all.
