Suspension Dampers on Advance Not Noticable

How do you feel about the suspension dampers that are supposed to adjust the ride between "softer" when in comfort mode and "tighter" when in sport or sport+ mode? While there is a serious difference in performance due to throttle response and shift points I cannot tell the diference with regard to the suspension. I wasn't expecting a cushy ride but I was expecting to notice a diference. Comments please.....

I can definitely tell the difference - not so much on smooth roads but very noticeable when things get a bit choppy. Test it yourself going over expansion strips, railroad tracks, etc. at speed, it's much smoother in 'Comfort'. Make sure your tire pressures are correct (mine was delivered at 39psi) because over inflated tires will negate some of the effect.

I could barely tell the difference between "normal" and "sport" modes on my 2017 Civic Si which also had adaptive dampers, but I can definitely tell a difference between "comfort" and "sport+" modes on my 2019 RDX.

A few points:

1) As mentioned above, the difference isn't very noticeable on smooth roads because there's relatively little suspension travel.

2) The suspension still adapts between soft and firm depending on your driving and the road surface regardless of the mode. "Comfort" just biases the suspension more towards the softer side while "sport+" biases it toward the firmer side.

3) I believe some people expect too dramatic of a difference and think that "comfort" mode should provide the marshmallow-like ride of a 1980 Lincoln Town Car while "sport+" mode should provide the bone-jarring ride of a go-kart with no suspension at all.
