Side View Mirrors Tilt Downard in Reverse? Power Folding?
Are both, or one, of the sideview mirrors supposed to automatically tilt downward when reversing for parking?
Also, the manual (see below) shows a "Folding Button" for the sideview mirror but I don't see one. Did they pull this feature?? An asterisk on page 205 shows "Not available on all models". What model has this feature then?
While at the dealer getting my walkthrough of the RDX's features, I could have sworn that my right sideview mirror tilted downward when reversing. Neither sideview mirror has done it since. Strange enough, another '19 RDX owner came up to me during the walkthrough and asked me if I could test this feature because only his left mirror tilts downward when reversing. Only my right mirror worked. Perhaps this is because the selector, as per the manual entry below, has to be in either L or R to work. I will test this later today and report back.
You choose which mirror to tilt while in reverse in settings. I believe it tied to the driver 1 or 2 buttons. Auto folding is not available in US models. Canadian models do get it.

not tied to driver or fob. Whatever one is selected using the mirror switch is the one that tilts down. You can switch at any time.
