Anyone know how to remove the top of the lid on the armrest? I am trying to repair the latch.

there are other listings with the base also and u can see the screws, its on my list of things to swap out when my red 2022 armrest ships (after backorder)

Am I the only one who is annoyed that this arm rest only has 2 locking positions?

When it's all the way back if I have my elbow on it, I cannot reach the touchpad. And if it is in the forward position, it raises my hand up too high and using the touchpad is awkard.

I am trying to get away from replacing the whole lid. I an trying to remove the leather part. Just the very top shell.

Just learned that it moved like that. Didn't know until the latch broke.

Just curious, my center console latch snaps quite violently (loudly) if I don't gently release it, does that happen to anyone else?
