I've taken some drives of up to an hour where the car has gotten plenty warm. I'm just wondering if leaving the car in accessory mode for almost an hour during the map update has affected the battery. Anyways, it's not an essential function. I still have to bring it in to have them force the infotainment update. I just haven't had the time. If it's still doing it, I'll mention it then.

This.

Due to an unfortunate, or maybe fortunate, surgery, the Acura went undriven for about two months. It took quite some time, weeks longer than I expected, for full A.S.S. to return. It is very dependent on battery charge state and load.

Did you get that message on the on the center dash display ("Engine Idle Stop not Available") or did it just not engage? For me, there are plenty of times the engine doesn't shut off but that message is new. I usually disable it anyway but if I get stopped at a light that I know will be long, I hit the button and let it shut down. Then I disable it again.

I almost never push the button to disable it, but I often see that message. If you creep up at a stoplight, the message will appear. I have learned that I don't need to creep up...People might call me a creep!
