Audio glitch over USB
Every now and then, when either mine or my wife's iPhone is plugged in over USB, we'll hear a glitch noise like this https://www.dropbox.com/s/ur4y1m5hcr...litch.m4a?dl=0
Switching out the lightning cable doesn't fix it, and happens in multiple apps (podcasts, spotify, etc). It's really annoying, and can happen as little as once an hour, or most a few times in a minute. Is anyone else experiencing this? Feels like an issue with the car rather than CarPlay software.
Maybe it happens when it's very hot out? Hard to say.

Just mentioned this in another thread, but CarPlay in my 2018 Outback hiccup'd all the time as well. Sounded like a short in a cable. I haven't experienced this in the RDX, only b/c I've found CarPlay to be so clunky I prefer the Acura native system.

There are some issues with the audio system. Sometimes when playing a USB I get a beep like yours, and sometimes it just looses it all together and flat out beeps until a message appears saying the file cannot be played and it moves on to the next file. If you repeat the file that played, it plays fine. So something is amiss in the system somewhere. Hopefully it gets straightened out in a future update.

I just spoke to someone at Acura for about 15 minutes and documented all the issues I was having, and also referenced a lot of tech issues that have been discussed on this thread and others.
I would highly recommend everyone submit a case on this. He told me that b/c this is a new vehicle, there are a lot of eyes and ears on feedback right now...so the more the better.

Yes, Acura Client Relations. The rep I spoke with had a working RDX Infotainment system in his office, and was going through it as I spoke to him. Heard him typing to document everything I said. Whether or not that information ever gets used we'll have to wait and see. But at least it was documented.
