Thanks Silvershine for this.

I'm a bit of an automobile nerd and love engines and engine compartments, and like to do as much maintenance work myself as possible. In that vain, I noticed in the owners manual there't no mention of changing the air filter, is it under that hockey blade shaped object with that plastic screw thing? Could you also take some pix of the stuff under the radiator cover at the front?

Thanks

I'll take a few more pics this weekend. Not sure if I will pull off the rad cover though.

I’m patiently waiting for our factory order to arrive, so I have to live vicariously through this forum’s posts and pictures. Interesting to me the manual states for US models there is no washer fluid level sensor/light in the cabin, so the method to check is to look at the reservoir. Looking here the reservoir is opaque black. Am I missing something? Normally you can’t see to the bottom of those things from looking at top, at all.

Funny. I've never opened my hood. Thanks for the look inside, and the reminder to do just that!

Id like to know if the manual says anywhere you can use a heavier oil. 0w-20 might be the 1.5T issue imo. And the 2.0 is still fresh but uses the same oil. .

Just swapped out the engine cover for a Civic Type R cover.
