A-Spec custom exhaust

This is my hand fabricated Acura RDX Aspec Straight pipe exhaust! Check her out. Tell me what you think.

wow! thanks for sharing. sounds great! im planning to do this to ours too. Its not too loud inside right?

So, what did you do to the system? It sounds really good from the exhaust. How noticeable is the sound inside?

So from the catback we remove all resonators and mufflers. And replaced it with 2” aluminized Steel pipe. From the inside of the car you can definitely hear a difference but not much drone!

oh you removed even the 2 foot resonators??!

Thank you brother.

Do you still have the two foot resonators loose? Are they the kind you can see straight through? Just a perforated inner tube with insulation around the tube?

Exactly, they’re see through with insolation around the sides.

wow. love it!

so factory piping is not 2.25? i was about to get some tips to do muffler deletes first aswell. Then see how I like the loudness. its my fiancees car so gotta be balance enough for her

I’m interested in doing this but fearful of it voiding the manufacturer warranty. Would this void the warranty or am I just stupidly paranoid?

As long as you don’t mess with the cats. you should be fine. I’ve had cat backs on quite a few vehicles and never an issue
