KTuner Idle Stop/Start Disable
email sent!! Since you guys have an RDX, does that mean we may see a flex fuel option soon? It would be greatly appreciated if so!
I downloaded the latest version but cannot find the setting to disable the auto stop/start. Can you point me where it is?
Thank you

just a note on the ktuner help desk... they are awful. Insinuating and insulting, just the worse! Unreal the responses I just received the past couple days. Makes me want to dump the product and go with hondata. I have emails if you want.
Funz51 or anyone else, I got nowhere with KTuner’s helpdesk so I am reaching elsewhere for information. My issue is, I am having trouble finding the idle stop start control for my 2021 RDX in the KTuner software. I was told that the control was released from beta and under the “quick enables.” However, the only controls that are listed are “disable throttle dampening and 4 bar map sensors”. My KTuner software version is 1.0.12.6. any help on this subject would be appreciated.

I have 1.0.12.5 and I have the setting, see attachment.
They do not have 1.0.12.6 posted on the history page yet, but that is what is downloaded on the download page, I have seen this before. It will probably be posted tomorrow or so.
i hesitated installing it in case they screwed up something. I don't want a bad release.
i have my own fix in for the idle thingy, so i am not concerned, but you may be. I will see if i can figure out a way to get an older release for you.
see attached to see what i see for the idle thingy.
Thank You so much for the quick reply!! I did see that 1.0.12.6 was not was not in the history, not sure how long it takes KTuner to update their pages thought. If you could get a later release, that would help a ton. Let me know if you need me to do anything on my side.
There is no way to get an archived release off their site that I can see. I suggest sending them an email noting that the current 'unposted' 12.6 does not have the setting, and if they could kindly recompile and put it in, or make a 12.5 available. Sorry I could not help. (this is assuming that 12.5 was the first time that the idle checkbox went in. They do not mention the addition in the Version History).
It is all good, thank you for looking into it for me, its appreciated for sure. I will try to reach out to them on a couple different platforms again and see where I get. The Idle Stop was recently added to the software so I assume it was on the .5 version given the date.
Think I found the fix.
Hey all. I found the fix for this. Renistall all software from the Ktuner site. Check all the box's to install/reinstall. The auto stop/start disable will show up, it did for me.

Ktuner now at version 17
Even though ktuner no longer maintains their version numbers apparently, in their help, I had to actually download the latest version and install before I found it was version 17.
best thing about his version is they removed the turbo ramping. Hurrah!
I am running with it now and it seems really nice, but you know how installs go, it always feels good after installing. Probably due to the nanny learning that goes on.
anyway, I am happy with the build, just not the company.
Enjoy!

Few weeks ago took delivery on a '23 RDX.
made sure to verify ECU compatibility with ktuner
Picked up the V1.2 flash
was able to lock it to my ECU,
In software, loaded up the stage 1 map for the RDX platform.
Added no_ASS quick enable.
Saved file to PC
Uploaded stage 1 no_ASS to ktuner flash, slot 1
Used tunerview to program ECU.
*Feel the power
now i have stage 2 no_ASS and the phearbale stage3 no_ASS saved in slot 2 and 3 respectively.
I don't anticipate any issues moving between maps without a laptop.
Great times we live in.

The Phearable tune wont matter. The start/stop revision was added directly from ktuner so even if you didnt want to load a tune you can disable it.
