Hi Guys,
I just picked up a 2021 RDX A-Spec and have a question. I use a bike carrier call SeaSucker Mini Bomber. It uses 4 suction cups to attach to the roof of the car each suction cup pulls 210 pounds of pull strength. Coming out of my 2018 RDX I had plenty of metal on the roof to secure it without any problems. The company that makes the bike rack claims it works on all smooth surfaces (glass, metal,etc..). Wondering if anyone else out there has this bike rack and has used it either on the sunroof or the panoramic glass without any issues. Thanks in advance!!

I’ve noticed the glass flex a bit just shutting the door. The weight of the bikes, highway speeds, bumpy roads, etc, would apply a lot of force to the glass and it would terrify me. Not trying to knock the company that makes the mount but its easy for them to say “yup, works great on glass” but if it shatters, it’s not their problem or responsibility. The first week I had my 2020 RDX A-spec, I installed a trailer hitch so I could use hitch mounted bike rack.

Do not use that with the sunroof glass, that’s asking for it to break, imagine driving and the bike rack blows the glass and falls into the car and hits you in the head, warranty will not cover that either
