Glare, Everywhere Glare
Looking to reduce sun glare off lower steering wheel spoke and also to resurface the piano black shiney plastic on the center console.
Thoughts range from vinyl wraps ( probably professionally installed ) or remove parts and Cerakote or Hydrodip.
i think the wood on door trim would look great but if not able to match then some flat carbon look.
Rahal Racing tricked out an RDX.

And there it is...
Tough to catch in the wild and the camera sort of compensates. This isn’t even bad glare. This is just bright. Depending on angle of sun and direction traveling, it gets right into my eyes.

Tint your windows?

Glare thru tint
That pic is after I tinted windows.
It’s better but I’m waiting for a day when I’m blinded. When that happens, I’m gonna Sharpie that decorative part!!! And if I open roof up, it’s gonna happen.
Just kidding. I’m still pondering “fixing” the hot spots.

I thought the woven carbon fiber look when out of fashion a decade ago. About the time they stopped wrapping aluminum bike parts in woven carbon fiber.

Proactive Options Welcomed
Bright shiny carbon fiber is probably a Honda Civic slammed and tuned dream.
But there are subtle flat versions that don’t scream pubescent teenager.
Ceramic coating is still an option.
Either way I need to do something.

My dogs could take care of it in about 10 seconds. A toddler could do it in 5.

^ That is the majority of where the glare comes from. Makes you wonder if they ever took this thing out and did actual R&D on roads for it to get through. It's pretty damn bad depending on the time of day and direction you're driving. And it goes right into your eyeballs.
