USB playlist corrupted
Has anyone successfully used USB Audio by sticking in a USB stick containing mp3s with m3u playlists?
I have done this and after a couple of days, the list of playlists still appear but some of them have 0 songs in them. Each time I have wiped the USB stick and copied over the same songs and m3u playlists. Not all playlists show 0 songs but some of them do and each time I clear the USB stick and come back, after a few days, it's a different set of playlists that show 0 songs in them. I can still play songs by searching through Folder list or asking for an artist or title. Could it be that the cache of playlists in the car is corrupted? Is there a way for force the car to reload the playlists? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! |
Format usb drive under FAT after copy in root mp3 files

Thanks I've tried that. Now the system can see my songs, but it doesn't respect the ordering of my playlist. How did you resolve that?

Yeah, I have found a problem too with my 5.1 files always start over when I start the car. I probably have a lot more to learn about formatting.....

The problem I have with my USB stick is that it gets stuck on the same song. I will re-select the playlist and it will play fine for awhile, then gets stuck back on the same song. I do not have this problem if I play the mp3 songs through my iphone using car play. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? I don't want to use my iphone through car play all the time.
