I have about 1200 miles on my 2020 RDX with Advance Package. Love the vehicle but one of the few annoyances is the notification sound on the infotainment system. When I first got the car I listed my favorite sports teams with Sirius so whenever one of my teams was playing I would get a notification at a volume level that about pierced my eardrum. It's at least 3 -4 x louder than the music or podcast I am listening to. This obviously has not been a problem recently with no sports teams playing bc of the Corona virus, but it happened again today when I got a text notification. How can I turn down the notification sound on my car? I have looked but cannot seem to find the right setting.

 

iirc it is controled by the volume level for "system volume"

 

When you're getting the notification, adjust the volume with the steering volume control or the one on the dash. You'll see the notification icon if you're adjusting the correct volume source.
