Has anyone been able to get their album art to appear on the infotainment screen via Bluetooth streaming? I checked a few resources and didn't really come up with a solution. For what it's worth, I'm using an Android phone and have updated my Bluetooth AVRCP version to 1.6 (I read that this supports album art). My brother's Highlander displays album art via Bluetooth so I know it's possible. I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Doesn't show on my 2019 RDX, but did on a 2016 Ford Fiesta I recently inherited. The Fiesta has the optional Sync 3 system that was running software version 1.0 when I got it. It displayed album art via Bluetooth. After upgrading the software to version 3.0, it stopped displaying album art via Bluetooth.

Very reminiscent of my experience with Ford. Their approach to dealing with performance issues with the MyFordTouch system in my Focus was to remove a bunch of features as part of a version "upgrade".

I can see the album art on the usb flash drive. My question is why can I not play the music on my phone by Bluetooth? When I choose Bluetooth on the car info system it only shows one folder and will not play anything. I have tons of music on my phone. It is in the Samsung folder under "My Files", "Audio", "Phone Music". I have a Samsung Note 8. Phone music played fine in my 2015 CRV.

The album art showed up for me when I was streaming with Spotify via Bluetooth on my Samsung S8+.

I'll test with other apps when I get the chance.

We're in the same boat (and it appears that we're driving the same vehicle). Excellent choice btw.

I use GPM (via Android Auto) on my LG G6 and haven't been able to view album art on the infotainment screen. I'm hoping that this functionality is included in near future OTA update. But I'm certainly not holding my breath.

Actually, mistyped, I have a S9. I just activated developer settings, and put bluetooth to 1.6, and you can change Codecs also when connected to a device. I will try out when I leave work today.

I do not have any BT codec related developers options in my Android v7.0 phone so it is a moot point to me.

I have Galaxy S9+ and there is no album art when connected with bluetooth audio. I do get the album art when using USB stick.

I don't know if this helps, the flac files I play the album art has to be smaller than 600x600. Maybe resizing the album art using a mp3 editor might work.
