I'm getting hyped! I contacted my local Acura the other day to "begin the discussion" on trading in my 2020 RDX Advanced SH-AWD for a 2022 Advanced ASPEC (with SH-AWAD included by default for this year).

I'll call the sales guy back today if I see the new RDX, today.

I heard order banks are open for it already. You would have to talk to them and see if you could order it.

I had no idea, thanks! I'll have to inquire for sure. My Advanced has less than 10,000 miles on it, SH-AWD which is rare-ish for the area, and 3 more years of warranty coverage. It's in positive equity right now and Kelly Blue Book lists mine situation as being in the $43,000 range. Might as well just trade it in for a new 2022.

if you can get $43k and get all the loyalty and bumper to bumper to bumper program then it’s a good deal.

Used car prices are nuts right now. My Acura has for sure held its value well. I think dealers are limited on inventory right now for new and used cars. Either way, I think the ball is in my court for this trade in.

Yap, the car under cover looked a bit long next to NSX, but the height of the hood and line from the grill-hood-windshield-mirror is unmistakably RDX.

Welp, I guess it's not showing today. I guess maybe Saturday then? Maybe we will see a teaser drop soon. They'll have to unveil what's under that sheet eventually.

Could be. That’s race day so could make sense to do so.

Was just watching an Instagram Story of Honda Pro Jason and he mentioned of a private honda get together, probably Acura would be there as well but could be a revealing of the RDX facelift. Even if he says Honda usually Acura is apart of it especially if it’s in Long Beach.

Awesome, the 2022 RDX hype train steams ahead. I'm going to go with an unveiling tomorrow.

if it’s not tomorrow then it’s probably at the private showing with the reveal happening a couple days after. Let’s hope it’s tomorrow.

Anxiously awaiting any new info! Would trade my 20 A-spec SH-AWD in a second for Advance A-spec trim. Hopefully with 11.5k miles the value proposition will be there.

I’m hoping it’s today and we don’t have to wait until mid next week to find out. They could do something like what they did with the Integra announcement and be revealed late at night but I hope not so it can give everyone a chance to look at the updates they did to it.

Looks like it won’t be revealed until next week Friday, when the Long Beach event starts.

Then must be during the week. Thought the race was tomorrow and not next week.

Correct. The Grand Prix started yesterday and ends on Sunday.

If you go to the main website you can see the schedule and the final race is Sunday, this weekend. Nothing after.

Do you mean Long Beach Blue? Laguna Seca Blue is a BMW color.

Isn't Aspec with Advance what the PMC is?

Even more weird -- BMW also has a Long Beach Blue (for the M2) but it's different than the Long Beach Blue for the NSX.

Some one on reddit is claiming that the 2022 RDX page on Acura’s website will launch on the 21st.

yep that’s what was on the sheet that leaked out. Tiger Eye Pearl is interesting though as that’s a Type S exclusive color.

Still no digital dash I see.

With the new ASpec+Advance trim, what's the benefit of getting the PMC model? Just the special blue paintjob and having it be "hand built?"

I am not sure, but I don't think the 2022 MDX listed the digital dash/cluster as a feature or highlight either.

digital dash for MDX is standard but they did highlight it. If it doesn’t have it it really isn’t a lost cause. They would actually have to change the dashboard to incorporate the digital one if they do and at that point it’s a waist money.

Yea, even if it didn't have a digital cluster, I think I'd still be happy. I'm more happy about the folding mirrors to be honest. It's a tight squeeze in my garage

No the TLX is the best selling sedan in Acura, not the ILX.

I am pretty excited about these upcoming changes/new features even though the thing I care the most (touch screen capabiities) will generally be a carry over.

It does seem kinda off that the 5G CR-V (deputed in 2017) has full digital instrument cluster and touch screen for infotainment, but the newer RDX has neither but overall is much better SUV/CUV
I prefer digital displays and touch screens, but that is personal choices.
