When to expect 2022 RDX info?

Anyone have any luck speaking to the dealerships yet about potential orders? The dealer near me says stock will be obviously very limited, so to me it seems better just to have one ordered.

transparent dealers will be able to share what they have coming in the first shipment. you can leave a deposit, but they won't share MSRP though.

If people holding onto cars longer becomes the consequence, that's not necessarily bad...

*This could be a wash or bad in the long run, as older cars are generally less efficient, especially if not taken care of.

You're only talking about the small percentage of people whose lease is up or really need a car the past few months. If you already have a car or lease doesn't expire for another year or two, you can weather the storm until things come to some new equilibrium.
I've never paid MSRP and hoping for things to be more consumer-friendly in 2 years when my lease is up.

I am not so sure when the market will cool down. I think a new paradigm has emerged, and even when the supply chain eventually gets going, it could be years, if ever, before the old method of lots of cars on the lot appears.
Part of Tesla’s profitability must be the lack of inventory investment at dealers.

For the people who can't get past the front page where it says "Estimate Payments" then you click "Calculate" and nothing pops up. You had to scroll down on the RDX page and click "Build yours now" instead.
Here is the build page: https://www.acura.com/build-price/rd...539#appearance
Either there's a missing option, or they forgot to include it in the description. But the A-spec Advance package doesn't include the "Key Fob Activated Remote Engine Start with Vehicle Feedback" in there anywhere, neither does it have an option to add it on. So I'm guessing it DOES come with it.

I'm in love.
For sure trading in my 2020. This is the RDX I really wanted. I just hope Acura doesn't come out of nowhere and drop the Type-S RDX. I'm pretty confident we won't see a Type-S RDX for another two years.

I am on the same page with you. I am currently driving a '18 CRV EX and have been waiting for the refresh to change cars. Trying to get the PMC version haha

I likely wont be getting a 2022 RDX until the spring if at that time. I inquired with the 5 dealerships in my area and they are all having ADM. They want to add a package such as tint or Tire packages. It is bad enough to pay MSRP but markups is just not something I will go for. The dealerships are desperate and I guess I will rather let them burn than pay extra for crap I don't want or need.

Funny thing just occurred. Sales Manager wrote up a deal for no add-on at MSRP and asked for a deposit on an ASPEC/ADVANCE coming in late November. Deposit is refundable and he emailed it to me. He didn't have a VIN yet and I can give that a pass as the car hasn't actually been built yet. I gave the deposit and will wait to see what happens. Funny paying full MSRP still hurts as EFR sated above,

Well Carvanna offered me $38k for my 2019 Lexus NX which I am currently leasing. The buyout is $27k. That's insane. I'll likely be getting a 2022 Aspec Advance but I will not pay over MSRP.

I wonder how tough getting a 2022 PMC would be. I think there is only like 200 or so made, so evenly divided, that's only about 4 per state. (if the 200 is correct). I'm talking myself into something I never though I would., but I love that Long Beach Blue, and I love that new 'Orchid' interior color, although I think that interior color was available on the Advance A-Spec also. The 'hand-assembled' part I could really care less about.

Did you go into the dealership to talk with the manager to hear that?

Thanks. I saw the Apex Blue option, but not the color for me. I don't know why I like the Long Beach Blue color so much (maybe because that's where I was born a hundred years ago), but I like it as much as I didn't care for the 2021 PMC orange color.

You lucky son of a gun. If I can actually get that offer, I'd take it on the spot. East coast sales reps saying either "hard to tell" "can't do that for ya" or "I didn't know there was a new RDX coming soon, thanks for telling me" (????)

Well, I had to Google it, and see it is long gone, so no! I would guess I was 5 by the time we left there. The product of divorces, etc. and off to LA. I think I was born at Seaside Memorial which is also long gone. But Pike sounded like an interesting place...interesting history for sure.

Is the MY22 PMC ~$2k more than MY21 PMC? $55k is really pushing the boundary IMHO.

It takes 5 days to paint the PMC edition! So, look out trying to find ANY body shop able to duplicate that paint job when body work would ever need to be done...or paint
repair, etc. No thank you! NOT worth it. The paint on the assy. line RDX's is just fine. Better than most really. Esp. the optional cost colors. They do a great job on those.

There will be 180 units for the U.S. market, and 20 for Canada. The Orchid int. is avail on other models, not just the PMC. To me, the paint is the worrisome issue for an owner.

Yeah I agree, MSRP is tough pill to swallow, especially when we are used to negotiating for a better price. I been in contact with 5-7 dealers, the few first are trying to sell me a MY 21 and the rest are directly at MSRP. It's funny to see that out of state dealers are being more transparent than instate.
Best of luck to everyone trying to get a 22!

My 2020 RDX Advanced is below 12,000 miles. KBB shows that I'm at a maximum of $45,000 trade in value. Just three weeks ago, it was a max of $43,000.
Crazy.

orders and inventory for the dealers. Maybe some early ordered ones MAY arrive early Nov. My dealer ordered 4 A-Spec/Adv models. One is white/red
for me and they do have a build week of Nov 1-5, IF that actually happens...we'll see. If so, then also the delivery times have double due to truck shortages,
read "drivers" ....and issues with the R/R too. So, I MIGHT see mine by the end of Nov.
Again...as I've mentioned before in many posts....it's not Acura's fault. It's what's happening in getting raw materials for parts suppliers and then getting parts made
and to the factories. It's a mess everywhere for lots of commodities.
I drove to MANY car dealer lots today..closed here on Sundays...to see what they looked like. I swear some looked like they were out of business. Hardly any inventory...
the huge lots once full of vehicles....totally empty!! Everywhere I went. Really bad for our economy, since auto sales are huge for the U.S. and the many company's that
support auto manufacturers. Domino affect in the cash flow world. Many dealers can't sustain the number of sales folks since there are hardly any new cars to sell. Yes,
they are trying to survive on used cars...but, that's not enough to pay them and all the bills. Some dealers are struggling financially to basically..."keep the lights on." In
a manner of speaking. I don't see it turning around till Spring. IMHO

I know of a '22 MDX Adv, pre owned, LOW miles that sold for almost what it's MSRP was. The Adv is heavily sought after. I know why....I have one.

silver too. All had amazing paint. LOL..If the PMC doesn't have great paint...Acura better fold up shop!! They spend 5 days prepping and painting
that model.
