Welcome home lighting - intermittent
Hey everyone – belated happy Thanksgiving to you all.…
In the last week my headlights and tail lights do not illuminate once in a while when I unlock the car at night. This is never happened. It has always been consistent In that the pathway lighting or you might say welcome home lighting always worked. I will say I just had my A16 Service done and it seems to of happened after that we’re unlocking the car with the fob at night results in no headlights no tail lights but only maybe one in 10 attempts the other nine attempts the headlights and tail lights work fine. Has anybody experienced this? It just seems like a really odd thing to suddenly start happening. Maybe I should disconnect the battery and reconnect it… LOL seems to be the fix for everything. 2020 RTX tech

Only reason why they wouldn't light up at night is if when you parked your car before you stepped out you manually flicked the headlights to off and turned them off before stepping out, disabling the auto feature until the car is restarted next time
If thats not the case (most likely), then I would simply drop off your car off at the service dept, hop in a loaner, and let them fix the issue for free because your under warranty and not think too hard about it. best of luck!
