Washing the car

Hello All,

I just purchased a 2022 ABP RDX A-spec and i was coming from a 2015 RDX. I was just going through the manual online and on the cleaning section, the manual says to not get water in the air vent system and the picture points to the hood around where the wipers are. When using a wand wash, is that somewhere we need to be mindful of when washing the car? Or is it them thinking we are washing the engine bay with the hood open?

they dont want you to spray water directly into area between windshield and hood that has air intake. It can get lightly sprayed as if its raining, but dont take big stream of water and spray into air openings. This is true for any car.

as far as car wash, unless you have a completely touch less car wash, I would avoid it. Best to was car yourself (if you can)

Wash your car by hand. Use a ceramic spray to protect it.

That’s all. Mic drop.
