Just noticed it today when I was standing outside the car when my wife came back home and turned the car off. I took the video with the hood open and sounds like it's coming from the turbo area. I can't hear it when sitting inside the car, so not sure how long it's been like this. Anyone else has this noise?

Could be A/C expansion valve. My 2019 did this.

I haven't noticed anything like this but then again when I shut the car off, I am inside the car and thus probably wouldn't notice it.

I did have a whistling problem with my 2019, but that was when the engine was running and audible inside the car. It was fixed by the dealer.

 

thanks for the suggestions. I have an appointment with the dealer next week but these things bother me so I did some testing. I used my bidirectional scan tool to activate the radiator fan with the car on but engine off, upon deactivating the radiator fan it made the same squealing noise like a bad bearing/bushing. So looks like it's the rad fan and not the turbo.

 

Nice Diag, what scan tool are you using?

Also,if you have a scan tool and diag'd this, why not just replace the fan yourself?

 

I have the Launch X431 Elite for Honda can get it from aliexpress or amazon for ~$100. It can do 90+% of what HDS can do.

The car is still under warranty, dealers tend to dismiss complaints and aren't great with diagnostics that aren't obvious so I need as much info as possible to convince them what is wrong. Out of warranty for sure I'd just replace it myself.
