Touchless car wash with crack windshield?
I had two with cracks which both spread in the car wash. The water in the wash is cold, so if you go to the wash, go in the evening or early morning, be sure the sun hasn't warmed the windshield. The acoustic glass seems more sensitive to heat/cold differences, I think because the outer layer of glass is thinner. Other vehicles I have had with cracks were never this sensitive, but they were not acoustic glass.
It might depend on the how great the temperature difference between the windshield and water temp and the type of crack (star, long fracture, round bullseye). Bigger the difference, the greater the chance of the crack increasing. Depending on the crack, some shops might be able to prevent the crack from getting larger until you can replace the glass.

I've used the hand wash coin stalls to just knock off some of the winter muck when I had cracks in my windshield. I just made sure to keep the spray off the windshield. I didn't want all the muck to melt in the garage making a bigger mess.
