Rust spots on roof railing

My 2019 RDX has lots of rust spots on the railings. Anyone else having this issue? Will Acura remediate this under warranty? I have never used any roof racks etc....

That’s plastic which can’t rust. Most likely it’s railroad rust if you live or drive by the railroads.

Hmm... Looks like Rail Rust can be removed with a clay bar... I will give that a try...

Also look into a product called IronX from CarPro which is an iron remover. Adams car products has one too. So does Chemical Guys. All made for car washing. Spray your car with water, spray on the product and watch it turn purple (it's normal chemical reaction to iron), wait 3-5 minutes and don't let it dry on the car, finally rinse with water and dry the car. Do it before you clay. You can spray this stuff all over the car if you'd like. I do. I usually do us mostly around the fenders and towards the rear bumper. Maybe give it a try? All this stuff is on Amazon.
