Roof rack?

Roof rack?
One thing I really appreciate on the Q5 is the aluminum roof rails and the included cross bars. A lot more aesthetic and aerodynamic than an aftermarket rack.
I don't leave the cross bars on the rails at all times because it really adds some wind noise. I often need to carry some bikes on the roof. I simply I install the cross bars when needed. The positioning/mounting system is simple, effective and quick. I always leave the bike racks bolted to the cross rails. It only takes a few minutes. Utility. That's what the U in SUV stands for. :-)
The question is: Is this feature already available on the current RDX or on the MDX? If not any hints if this will be included in the 3rd gen? They took many good features from the Q5, I hope they also took this one! :-)

The RDX has an available roof rack system on the current gen and I would assume it will be available on the new one too. The funny thing to me was when we bought our '16 I noticed you had to buy both roof rails and cross bars while the much cheaper CR-V had the roof rails standard....The current CR-V has roof rails standard on the Touring model. It will be interesting to see what happens with the RDX this time around. In my opinion the RDX should have the rails standard across the board at the level they play in.
