RDX Tinted Tail Lights and Ambers
Hey guys!
New member here and I've been searching but can't seem to find any pictures of this but does anyone have their rear tail lights tinted or "smoked"?
In addition to the tail lights, has anyone also gotten rid of the amber turn signal indicator in the front headlight housing or covered it with tint as well?
If so, if we can get some pictures for reference that would be dope. I have a 21' Platinum White Pearl RDX.

I tinted the tail lights on my previous car which was a VW GTI and it looked good. I just had them not tint the reverse light and i liked the look. Then i switched them out and installed the Golf R tail lights which already come tinted from the factory. Pics below

the Golf R lights look so much better because they were tinted from the inside...
please do not shade the RDX tails from the outside, because it looks cheap. and has died. dont resurrect the stupid trend.
if you gonna do it. do it correctly and open the lights and tint the insides to make it look stock/factory.

OP its your car but messing around with aftermarket bulbs and illegal tint is just asking for trouble and nobody likes to buy cars that are modded.

The inconvenient truth
You can try to see if laminx has pre cut tint film for your vehicle. It's really easy to put on since it's pre cut and laminx has great material. Also it's easily removable. They also have different darkness including gun smoke.

Like stated above you can do the laminx film
or simply go to a paint shop and they can spray tint into the clear on the lens.
if u did the vht rattle can the sanding and clear is where people get the dull cheap look vs the polished oem darker look.

I definitely wont be doing any sort of spray tint. I was thinking more like Laminx or a light tint maybe 30% or 50%. I have yet to hear of anyone getting in trouble with the law because of tinted or smoked tail lights. Your brake lights are clearly visable at night. When my previous car was tinted i never even had to change the bulbs. I would leave the reverse light clear so i can still see at night when reversing

from the factory its different, as it's shaded from the inside of the tail light.. Giving it a different look than an exterior shading job.
The OEMs have stepped up so much so, that aftermarket exterior shading has given up the ghost.
see pictured Golf R, CRV tail lights for an example.
compared the OEM shaded ones, one can immediately point out an exterior shade job and think trash.
but of course, that is my opinion.

Ill post an after pic once the exterior tint is done, if i end up hating it then ill go the more labor intensive route of taking the tail light apart to tint the inside. I haven't found another thread on this so i guess ill be the guinea pig lol
