Range Miles Decreased

I have a 2021 Advanced with about 40K miles. I used to get 300 to 325 mile range upon fill-up. Now getting around 240 to 250? I recreantly replaced my original tires with Pirelli' Scorpion AS Plus 3 . Anyone advise. Thanks

Did your driving change a lot? That guess-o-meter is based off prior MPG and driving.

What is the mpg that the car reports for a given fill up? Range is just some kind of "smoothed" mpg (mpg averaged over last few hundreds or thousands of miles) times tank size. The RDX tank size is about 17 gal, so if you're getting 20 mpg, then that would correspond to 340 miles of range. If you sit in the car in parking lot with with the AC on and mpg drops to 15, you have a range of ~250 miles.

Another possibility is your new tires have a higher rolling resistance that is having an effect on your fuel economy. Its a logical explanation given the only difference are the tires.

Aspec SHawd: Stock Goodyear EAGLE RS-A are just okay in terms of rolling resistance. I've got pretty good highway mpg with the pressures at 38psi in each - average 27.4 mpg over 600 miles, 90 degree temps, 74mph cruse, regular gas and flat to slightly hilly terrain.

Pirelli' Scorpion AS Plus 3 - are suppose to have a better rolling resistance.

Any other recent changes?
