Question for those who have had black lug nuts...

Do they look like trash after they're wrenched by shops, or do they stay nice-looking? I worry if the base metal is light colored that they'll easily show scratches and nicks. Thanks!

Well the base metal will always be a light color.. usually these are just anodized black and after an impact gun or two, it will start showing in short order...

I've had one tire rotation and a winter snow tire changeover and - so far so good. No nicks or scratches.

Our Aspec RDX came with chrome lug nuts so I bought these black silicone lug nut covers. They look great. I had to trim the length a little with a pair of scissors but they are otherwise easy to put on and take off. I plan to remove them whenever I take the car in for work that involves removing the wheels.
