Given these are from China, perhaps it would be less risky to just get the OEM Chinese-market RDX mirrors, which are also electronically foldable.

Maybe the ones sold in Canada / Mexico are like this too?

 

I wonder if this is plug and play with US variants. IIRC if you import the canadian parts and retrofit it the wire harnesses were prewired for it but you had to get a new driver side window controls as well. Looks like with this kit you might have to do some cutting of the mirror control area.

 

Will be interested if this is DIY-able
