Does the popping actually hurt anything?

My 2021 just started doing it. I don’t really care as long as it’s not hurting the pano. Having some greasy tech bear-paw my roof liner just to temporarily stop an occasional noise is something I’d rather not do.

Yeah mines pops as well when I back outta my step parking spot. I just ignore it now.

This really should be a source of embarrassment for Acura. For what is supposed to be an upscale brand to have a problem like this that is ignored by the dealers is pathetic. I can see the problem with a few cars getting by their quality control or testing, that happens in many ways to many different brands. But to ignore the problem and leave the customers hanging to the point that they have to organize a class action against the company is a sign of poor management.

When they lose a customer to poor service in an issue like this, they're not just losing one customer, they're gaining someone who will try likely talk down their brand and try to steer customers away.

Has been popping since 2019. Started squeaking when wet since last fall. Dealership cant replicate it

The popping did come back after a month or so from their attempted fix. At this point I gave up on Acura trying to fix it. When its time to buy a new car, I just won't buy another Acura.
