Not Saving My Settings
New RDX owner here. I know the infotainment center has been beaten to death, but I can’t seem to find if anybody else has had my problem.
When I go to my sound settings and I change the balance/fader from “Full Vehicle” to “Front Only,” the setting seems to essentially time out after I shut the car off. If I change the setting, then shut the car off, open the driver’s door, close the door, and restart the car, the setting remains saved. However, if I change the setting and leave the car overnight, the setting reverts back to “Full Vehicle.”
If I manually change the balance and fader, those settings will remain forever. However, the EQ changes and makes it sound better by selecting “Front Only” rather than just shifting the fader all the way to the front.
Finally, is there seriously not an auto dim feature for the infotainment at night? If anything, the infotainment center in this car has further entrenched me into Apple’s camp. I really like the car itself, but the infotainment center is a mess.
