On my 2022 the front camera location is right under the A emblem. Your pic does not look right. Are not all 3rd gen front cameras in the same locale?

1) The camera on the front grill looks the same as mine.
2) The view on the screen looks the same as mine when "birds eye view" is not selected.

The black "dip" in the image dissapears when engaging Birds Eye View

thank you... so strange I've never noticed this before I use the camera system all the time!

How do I get back to birds eye view?

Just keep pressing the CAMERA button to switch between views, according to my owner's manual. The manual also shows that yes the "Front Wide View" looks like what you're seeing.

I don't have this camera on my (Canadian) A-Spec and had just been looking at a weather.gov map of all the heat warnings in the US, which is why my initial reaction!

At the bottom of your image are 3 icons. The one on the right represents "birds eye view". Keep pressing the button on the steering wheel stalk until you see horizontal lines above and below the icon. The same as the left icon currently shows.

Do all 3G have a front camera? I looked at a 2021 A-Spec and the salesman had me reverse to check out the rear camera. I asked about a front camera, as I have a tight garage and it would be helpful, and he said the car didn't have one. I didnt look close enough on my walk-round to see for myself.

They do not all have it. Need an "Advance" trim (or "Platinum Elite" in Canada) to get the surround view camera system that the front camera is part of.

That being said, most 3G have front parking sensors. Use mine every time I park in my garage to make sure I'm far enough forward so I can open the tailgate with garage door closed behind me.
