Hey folks, noticed this today and can’t remember if it’s been there or what? It’s on the drivers side

Not for a 3G TL it isnt.

Looks like a factory/manufacturers defect.

The black piece on the bottom behind the mesh is loose. I was just in to the dealer for service a couple weeks ago

Yeah, it's normal. It's an air vent for something. Can't tell what. It opens up underneath the driver's side headlight. There's too much crap in the way to see where it goes.

I believe it's the vent for the battery box, item #7 in this diagram.
