New RDX Owner
I'm gonna post pics of my RDX once I get a chance - I'm pretty tech savvy, but still trying to learn all the bells and whistles on the new RDX.
When I put on Cruise Control, I get the ACC and LKAT - do those need to be turned on every time you turn on Cruise? It seems that they are not automatically on. Also, when I am not cruising, does that mean these two features are not working and I'm only relying on Collision Mitigation System and Road Departure Mitigation?

ACC and LKAT are not on by default, but once you turn them on (even after you turn off the ignition), they would stay on until you turn them off. With these features on (standby), you can then use ACC and LKAT.
Keep in mind that these features are just "assisting" you on driving, do not trust them 100%. I have had a few times that the LKAT did not follow the curve on the freeway and also the ACC failed to slow down and stop the car on stop and go traffic with ACC set to about 37 mph.
Same with Collision Mitigation System, as I also have a few times that it did not give me warning about parked car in front of me, although I have seen warning at other times. I am going to report this to the dealer at my first service.

Thanks - very helpful. When you say "on standby" you mean until I start cruise control again, not just while driving without it correct? These two features are only available when using cruise control?
