I don’t lease, I buy.

But, just remember that many parts of the lease are negotiable. While the residual value percentage off the list price is generally not, the actual purchase price is, and the money factor is generally negotiable as well. When it comes to the money factor, get it in writing, multiply it by 2400, and you get a good idea as to what APR that represents.

There is a lot of info on the web, including lease calculators, do your research before you walk in or you will get robbed blind.

It is almost always better to go with a no capital cost reduction lease, because if something gets totaled, the gap coverage will only pay what is due, and your cap cost down payment would be gone.

Go to leasehackr.com and search the forums for “Acura RDX” - many provide leasing details. And their calculator was spot on for the deal I got last August on a 2020 Advance SH-AWD.

I am worried about leasing as well, since I have never done it before. I have done some research and understand what they key terms mean, so hopefully that will suffice. I have always bought before, but have decided to go with a lease this time around.
