Idle rpm/speed higher??
Picked up mine last week and observed normal than higher rpm/engine run in P/N/R mode. I will check w/dealer and get it adjusted if possible. Anybody out there noticed the same?

Idle speed has been computer-controlled and non-adjustable for decades. It is not something the dealer can adjust. If the idle speed in incorrect, the cause of the incorrect idle speed must be corrected. If the idle speed is incorrect, the MIL will illuminate. If there's no MIL, then the idle speed is where the ECU wants it to be.
Mine idles around 1,750 RPM on a cold start before finally settling down to around 750 RPM after a few minutes. When it's idling high, I better have my foot firmly on the brake else it will take off! Also, the entire vehicle vibrates while stopped in reverse. I can feel it and hear it. It's embarrassing - especially for a $48K vehicle. Sad to say, the engine and transmission in my $15K Ford Fiesta is smoother - and it's got that "cursed" and unreliable Ford PowerShift dual clutch automatic that seems universally hated.
