Goodbye to My RDX A-Spec

Well yesterday (29 Sep 21)I had to say goodbye to my A-Spec. Traded her for a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn fully loaded. My needs have changed, I’ve always wanted a truck, and all the stars aligned to my favor. Glad to be free of the infotainment glitches but honestly she was a thrill to drive and had some gorgeous lines. Loving the 12 inch screen in my truck and got her in Delmonico Red. I’m still gonna keep my account here for a while. Thank you to all how passed along tips and tricks and a special thanks to David for doing the interior ambient lighting upgrade for me! I got just under 70,000 miles out of her and she still ran flawlessly! This was my first Acura and probably my last. I was meant to be in a truck.

I sent you a pm with the answer. I don’t post any kind of financial info on public forums. It’s just a preference. I got what I was expecting based on mileage and condition of the car. I have no complaints.

I hope you at least compared what they gave you to on-line offers from Carvana and Vroom. Dealers have been known to lowball unsuspecting buyers.

Yea I did. Been doing that for the last 4 months and they were all within a few hundred of each other. The dealer I traded at gave me the most.

Glad you got what you wanted but man, from an RDX to a Dodge Ram is one big change! Pray the "experts" are right and we aren't paying $4 a gallon for gas in a few months. Love my "around town car", our little Fit: 35 MPG city, 42 Highway.

Buddy is a long time Dodge fan. He owned a Chrysler dealership for over thirty years and he has driven Dodge/Rams for as long as I have known him. He seems to be happy with them.

I hope the experts are wrong also but I’m ready just in case. We have 2 cars here so I can always switch it up if need be.

I'm already paying $5.059 for premium at my nearest Shell. So I wouldn't mind $4 gas.
