Was this a good deal on a 2020 RDX Advance?

Congrats on the new vehicle!!
How do you like it so far? Is that SHAWD Advance? Did it include any accessories? What did you get for >$4600 in Acura Care?
I've had a modern RDX as a loaner. It is a fun sporty nimble vehicle to drive, so fast 0-30 with the turbo, but the road noise was terrible on concrete highways. It was just a base model - I heard the Advance uses acoustic glass.

She already paid for it. There’s nothing she or you can do about it now. Just let her enjoy the vehicle, and hopefully it was better put together than my POS 2020 A-Spec. Next time, do as much research as you/she can and shop around ... a lot. Email makes it easier, but at the same time, it makes it easier for sales people to ignore you. When I was shopping around for Golf R’s, every single sales person ghosted the second they got a whiff of me trying to get anything off sticker.

She got hammered my friend!
Her trade in wen't to extra fluff Acura care options totaling basically $4000 on those optional service contracts. So yeah they got her also with a $1000 surface protection . That's $5k of free money to dealer. If the car is good shape they'll sell it on their lot for $7k and net maybe 10k between extra service fees and net on selling that TL. She would have been better off not paying for those services and keeping her TL

Hard to say if this is good deal. It looks like they gave her no “formal” discount off MSRP but your sister got much more for her trade than what it was probably worth. A 2008 TL with 209,000 miles might be worth $2,000 to a dealer and they gave her $5,500. That extra $3,500 probably came off MSRP and represents a good discount. Certainly not a bad deal. As for the warranty and extras, I have no idea if they discounted them any. Regardless, congrats on her car. I hope she enjoys it.
