First oil change. Synthetic or ?? Opinions

So oemacuraparts.com says that part# for 2019 RDX is #90015-PH1-013. It also shows that the same part fits 2008 RDX. Which means M1-110A is the Mobil1 filter. If you put 2007-2011 RDX into Mobil1 website, they will say that M1-110A is the part.
It looks like they continue using the same filter.

These are the OEM Parts for the '19 RDX.
- 15400-RTA-003 - Oil Filter
- 94109-14000 - Drain Plug Washer
The only stuff I personally stay away from is the store's brand of oil (i.e. SuperTech for Walmart), and the additives like fuel cleaners and what-not.

I'm a firm believer in using FULL Synthetic oil in all my cars for decades, even more so if it has a turbo. If the RDX came from factory with FULL Synthetic oil when the time comes, use FULL Synthetic oil again, However if it came with standard oil I'd wait until having about 7,000 to 7,500 miles to change over to FULL Synthetic oil as the engine may need to break in a bit. Use the weight indicated. NEVER USE A BLEND SINCE YOU WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT % IS Synthetic. There are no gov't or industry regulations for a "Blended" oil

Some will say it sucks, some will say it's great, and still other will say, "Who the hell cares?"
The thing is, oil is like religion, use the brand and weight you worship, it will make zero difference in how long your engine lasts.

Both pennzoil and mobil1 are top brands sold in stores. They both do well with normal OLM. I used to like mobil1, but lately they got crazy by introducing dozens of different synthetic oil products for pure marketing. Seems like they are more concerned about marketing rather than focusing on making good oil(IMHO). If you go with pennzoil, Id suggest Ultra version which is only few bucks more.

If you want to get technical about it according to these measurements.
Higher film strength means less chances of metal-to-metal contact between moving parts, so less engine wear.

This is great info if you're on a race track for 15-20 minutes per session. Engine oil (especially 0w20) will break down when oil temps are high. This does not really apply to folks who drive an RDX and folks who 'full throttle' it here and there. Just my opinion. What do you guys think?
