Carrying the Keyfob
Just curious about what you all do. As keyfobs get bigger (and men's pants get slimmer :)), how does everyone carry their fobs when they don't have coats and are wearing slim-fitting slacks? At least the RDX fob is thin but it is not as small as Nissan/Infiniti (though they don't have remote start from .25 miles away).

Personally, unless I have gained a lot of weight recently, I don't wear slim-fitting pants. No-one would want to see me in slim fits anyway! LOL |
LOL. For sure my cell phone is bigger and it, too, looks ridiculous. If I wear a sweater or sports jacket, I "may" use a belt holster for the phone but it is rare. Is anyone clipping the fob onto their belt loop or something? I can't wait until our phones can serve as keys. I think BMW is just coming out with it now. Hopefully others will soon. On the other hand, I passed on a Volvo XC60 because the ONLY remote start it had was through the app. Apps generally take up to 2 minutes to start the car. I like having the fob.

Current Lincolns have "phone as key" |
I dont use any house keys ( we have motorized keypads &/ proximity sensors) but i do carry them in an orbitkey. Other than that I just have the 2 fobs for our cars and a supreme keychain they sent me.
i autostart the rdx with my phone or alexa its nice to never take anything out of my pockets ever for entry or exit to car or house https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...603ea2d1a.jpeg |
I learned a long time ago to always put my car keys in my pants, never in my jacket. Too easy on those spring and summer days to forget your jacket at your office, get out to the car and not have your keys.
Fobs have been about the same size for years, I'm used to it now. I no longer lean to one side! :) |

Yes. One of the reasons I picked the RDX over the XC60.

New generation of cars now use your phone as a key or even keycards. Plus, you can use your phone to remote start a vehicle without paying a subscription fee for some models unlike Acura.
