Can we capture driving footage from our Advance model RDX's ?

Can we capture driving footage from our Advance model RDX's ?
To my understanding there is a camera in the rear view mirror...is there anyway to capture this footage ? Like if I were to get in an accident (god forbid), could I access that footage ?

That is not a function or feature that is offered. I don't believe any video is recorded from the on-board cameras, much less accessible externally. I hardwired a dash cam into my car.
