Anyone has done this to their RDX or have any pics of it? I hate looking at the faded bumper trim pieces, front lip, side skirts and rear diffuser. As of right now, I am using a plastic trim restorer to bring it back to the OEM look but I know that eventually it will fade again overtime. I have also looked into the Cerakote ceramic trim coat wipes for a more long term solution but I also read that if you don't apply it correctly it will be very hard to remove it and you will end up with streaking, so because of that, I am staying away from the Cerakote wipes. I was thinking of bringing my car to a paint shop and having them paint the trim pieces in gloss black instead. My RDX is white so I think gloss black would flow well with the color of the car but just wanted to see if anyone on here has done the same?
I have used this stuff for years. One bottle will cover your trim on the RDX about 10x. Apply about every 6-9 months. Always looks amazing and super easy to put on. Beads up and holds up to rain + washes. Amazon has it. Nexgen ceramic spray for the paint is my go too, it works on windows too.

my only concern about products like this is, does it harm the paint if you get some on it? This is why I didn't use the Cerakote ceramic wipes that I purchased. Because I read that if you get it on the paint and don't wipe it away immediately and allow it to dry, it will leave a stain mark on your paint that you wont be able to take off.

Never had an issue with getting it on the paint. It's more of a thick gel, than Cerakote ceramic wipes, I've used this on my motorcycle and RDX, easy to apply just to the plastics and wipe off the paint. I hated the Cerakote ceramic wipes, non consistent color and wipes do not go far. To me, it's one of the best products for trim I have ever used. It not super shinny, more of the factory color and shine,
I use gloves to keep it off my skin, blue shop towels and a tooth brush for the inset plastic patterns on the rear and from bumper. Put it on, rub it in - then buff off the excess in about 2-4 minutes. Makes washing the car so easy and the trim looks like new.
