B6 Rear differential service and fluid replace

Got the B6 Rear differential service and fluid replace done on my 2019 RDX-AWD-Tech with dealer in January 2024 at 37K miles. Now at within some 9 months and a mere 8,000 miles later, the B6 is showing as being due soon, along with next oil change which I estimate is some 4,000 miles away. Is B6 service supposed to be last only some 12-15K miles? My earlier B6 lasted 23K miles, and there has been no change in driver or driving habits. I don't do towing or off-roading.
Wanted to know what could be causing this, and how much of a concern it is.

It's supposed to come on between 15 and 25k miles and then every 40-60k I beleive. Yours definitely has come on much too soon, I would wager that they reset the oil code only last time you went which is why B6 came on again so soon.

Thanks. Now my dilemma is whether to force reset it now, or suck it up and cough up the money in case there’s really something that the maintenance minder has detected.
One other informaiton, which may be relevant but I forgot to add, is that there is also the B3 transmission oil service also showing up - that seems normal as this will be the first time for that.

If they didn't reset the 6 code along with the oil, I would expect that it would have still shown B6 when you scrolled past the Maintenance view in the center display. It would not pop up everytime you started the car, but it would have still been there. Do you look at that display, or just wait for the Wrench to display at startup?

For instance, I had code B27 showing and 15% oil life left. Recently I just changed the oil/filter and reset the oil/filter code. Now it shows A127 with 100% oil life.

Thanks. That the dealer may not have reset the minder during last service is good to know; wil keep an eye for the future. As far as I can recall, the B6 did not show up until now, and only in the fourth screen or so as you scroll through the menus, along with the oil percentage being 90%. It does not pop up on the 1st screen when starting the car. That pop up is what I use as the guide to schedule service.
