Any way to stop the Acuralink app from forcing itself to foreground?
Every single freakin time I plug in my iPhone via usb cable the Acuralink app pops up saying I'm connected. I hit dismiss and of course it asks me if it's safe for me to be using it, some kind of safety message. This irks me because I have a shortcut to turn on my apps, Escort Live and Waze, and leave Waze in the foreground. Short of uninstalling the Acuralink app is there any way to turn this behavior off?

You can try turning notifications off for the AcuraLink App but it probably won’t work. I find it annoying but I just integrated it into my start up routine for the infotainment system before putting the car in drive.

Yes it ssoooo annoying! I also hate when I open up safari browser and it then open up CarPlay now playing. Sometimes I’m sitting and looking up something in google and CarPlay just takes over the system. Lol.

Thats just iPhone wanting to always be in control when plugged it to a car. It would do the same thing when I had my 2017.5 Murano. Car Play would take over just like a bully! I have learned to live with the bully Car Play and it does not bother me anymore. I just use Siri to search for antything by voice or do it before leaving home.
