Acuralink notification
On 1/1/19 I received a notification on my iPhone on Acuralink about a system update (new version D.1.07). I had updated my car system earlier in December and was wondering if this was a new update or just a late notification on the previous one. My car had no such update.

I received that message as well and when I got in my car this morning it was stuck on the disclaimer screen. I turned the car off and the screen stayed on. I left it off for about an hour and it stayed on. I resorted to pulling the audio fuse and that turned it off but after I put it back in the system is completely dead. I guess I have to go to the dealer. Pretty disappointing for a car that is only a couple of weeks old.

I got the same notification yesterday 1/1/19 via the AcuraLink App. Nothing to worry about. It if referencing the same update that came out in Dec 2018. For whatever reason the notification is arriving late through their app. If you already updated to 1.0.7 your on the latest/current version.

Update. I got in the car after a few hours to head to the dealer and the system started up normally. It gave me some kind of anti-theft warning and wanted me to either enter an anti-theft security code or just hold the power button for a few seconds. I didn't have any code so I just held the power button on the dash for a few seconds and it started up fine. The guy in the service department at the dealership said that's all you have to do because there is no security code. I've started the car a few times since and everything seems to be working ok. FYI, the update notification was just a coincidence because I already had the latest update installed a few weeks ago.
